The Phil Collins Experience - Tribute Southaven Concert reviews
Foreigner was amazing. They sounded exactly like they do on their albums, and played their greatest hits that got everyone singing and dancing along. Because if they sound just as good live, they don't need all the techtronics of today's musicians to sound decent, you can definitely tell that these older, great bands can play and sing. Although a lot of people left by the time The Phil Collins Experience - Tribute was halfway through their set, which makes me wonder whether this show wasn't as good as they normally are, it was a good show, however, and I would go again. The Phil Collins Experience - Tribute was great as well, only I felt that their guitar (and the instruments in general as well) over-powered the lead singer, and you could hardly hear him, or at times it sounded like his microphone had cut out because the music overtook everything. They put on a very entertaining bit, however I was slightly disappointed that the tickets said the concert started at 7pm, but they were already on stage by at least 6:30pm, if not earlier, although I wasn't terribly familiar with Night Ranger's music. Being it was my first time seeing them, I was content to stay.
